About the Work
The heated public debate about climate change illustrates its cataclysmic long-term effects on our planet. In this work, I juxtapose what is at stake – our nurturing ecosystem of extraordinary beauty and sophistication – with the compounding force of natural disasters that unfold at varying temporal scales in a series of contrasting ‘sonic environments.’ This narrative friction begins with echoing gestures, leaving it to our decisions whether they ultimately point toward hope and renewal or tell an admonishing story of our lost futures as lone witnesses to irreversible consequences.
