About the Work
This suite of short, virtuosic etudes was inspired by my exploration of parametric approaches to frequency, duration, and form in twentieth-century Hungarian music. Each movement draws upon the intensity, complexity, and showmanship of iconic electric guitarists, channeling that energy into the chamber acoustic medium.
